Tim Vogel is an internationally recognized filmmaker, writer and artist. He is also known locally as the director and editor of the beloved TV Show, Life in the Carolinas.

His card design features the Benjamin Hubbard House, located near Moravian Falls, North Carolina in Wilkes County. It was built in 1778 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Beth Jones has been creating Holiday Honor Cards for Crisis Control Ministry for many years. She is the production manager of Our State Magazine, a freelance graphic designer, and a Crisis Control Ministry volunteer.

This year's card design is inspired by Isaiah 9:6, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

2022 Mangum "Making a Difference" Holiday Card Design

For 35 years, renowned Greensboro artist William Mangum offered his amazing talent to create the Holiday Honor Card for agencies meeting the needs of those struggling with poverty, hunger, and homelessness. Crisis Control Ministry had the privilege of partnering with William Mangum for the Holiday Honor Card program for 16 years, until his retirement of the program in 2022. The cards that did not sell last year are available for purchase while supplies last.

Chickadee Tidings is a watercolor of a chickadee bird on a holly branch by local artist Barbara Campbell. Barbara Campbell is a beloved local artist and potter. She has a long history with Crisis Control Ministry as a volunteer and a former board chair. Barbara is well known for her charming paintings of birds. Chickadees do not migrate and are favorite residents of North Carolina throughout the winter months. These feathered locals beautifully represent survival through difficult seasons of life.
