As the largest non-profit provider of emergency assistance in Forsyth County, CCM assisted over 2,000 residents with utility and housing bills last year.
Your generosity allows us to continue to Share the Warmth.
Every day, many people come to Crisis Control Ministry for help paying their utility bills-- people like Sam. Sam is a single father who recently suffered a stroke, limiting his ability to continue his job as a mechanic. Sam is working hard to rehabilitate his hand in physical therapy and has applied for Social Security disability benefits. While he waits for approval, money is very tight. When Sam came to Crisis Control, his power had been disconnected and he desperately needed $600 to turn it back on.
You can make sure that Sam stays warm this winter. Make a financial gift today!
P.S. A generous local donor has offered to match all Share the Warmth gifts up to $50,000. Please help us meet the challenge and help even more families during the cold winter months ahead.
