In 2024, Crisis Control Ministry's Pharmacy provided 4,472 neighbors with 19,680 prescriptions valued at more than $1.3 million — and we’re just getting started.
In December 2023, North Carolina became the 40th state to expand Medicaid, opening the door for thousands of low-income adults who previously didn’t qualify for health coverage. Nearly 600,000 people have enrolled in the first year, exceeding expectations and offering a lifeline to many in our community.
Our Pharmacy has stepped up to meet this expanded need. We now fill prescriptions not only for the uninsured but also for Medicaid recipients who still face barriers, like transportation issues, pharmacy access, or gaps in coverage for specific medications.
Here’s why your support matters:
While Medicaid expansion has been a success story, its future remains uncertain due to potential federal funding cuts and policy shifts. That’s why local support is more crucial than ever.
We invite you to be part of this life-changing work. Your financial gift directly supports prescription medications for vulnerable neighbors, ensuring they don’t fall through the cracks and helping them stay on the path to stability.
Please give today. Together, we can turn action into access and improve health in our community.
