The Crisis Control Ministry pharmacy fills approximately 18,000 prescriptions annually. With your help, we can continue to meet the needs of our neighbors.
For neighbors such as Thomas, crisis can occur at any moment. When Thomas had to have his leg amputated, the loss of his job and savings meant that he suddenly found himself unable to provide for himself or his wife. Without insurance, he could not afford to pay thousands of dollars every month for the medication he needed to stay alive.
You can provide Thomas with his medications.
Make a financial gift today! Your gift will ensure that neighbors like Thomas have access to their life-sustaining medication.
Crisis Control Ministry's pharmacy opened in March 1987 as the first Licensed Free Pharmacy in North Carolina. Volunteers staffed a small 8' x 10' office stocked with sample medications donated by physicians, hospitals, and drug representatives. 34 years later, we continue to fill hundreds of prescriptions monthly for those who are unable to afford their medications.
