Rhythm & Hope Community Concert

Saturday, August 26, 2023
4:30 pm9:30 pm
Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, Clocktower Stage

The beloved annual summer concert known as Shmedfest is getting a new name this year as Crisis Control Ministry celebrates its 50th year of service to the community. This free to the community concert, Rhythm & Hope will take place on August 26th at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, Clocktower Stage. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. A Winston-Salem favorite, Souljam will kick off the first set from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The party machine, Phase Band will take the stage from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In addition to these two amazing bands, there will be plenty of activities for adults and kids alike.
Bringing community together is at the core of what we do. Neighbors helping neighbors is more than just a tag line; it is the essence of Crisis Control Ministry’s mission. This free concert is a way of bringing together and giving back to the entire community – those who have helped support us and those who we are able to help.
While admission is free to all, we welcome financial donations and will be collecting non-perishable food item donations. For a list of most needed items, visit crisiscontrol.org.
We hope you will mark your calendar and on August 26 will meet us at the clocktower.
