 Crisis Control Ministry invites Forsyth County preschools, day care centers and elementary school classes to take part in a cereal drive to help stock the Crisis Control Ministry food pantry.
WEE Care! is an opportunity for young children to learn the importance of helping others through hands-on participation, as well as to learn about making healthy eating choices. Parents are encouraged to help their children shop for cereal to be given to hungry children and to use this as an opportunity to teach children about reading food labels and making more nutritious food choices.
Wee Care! Cereal Drive March 10 - 14, 2008
Participating day care centers, preschool and elementary school students will donate the collected boxes of cereal to Crisis Control’s food pantry. Donations will be matched with coupons for milk provided by Lowes Foods, a WEE Care! sponsor.
