Kathy Hoffner, Director of Kernersville Office, informs us in her cover story of the exciting new program called Tools for Success - a series of training classes on budgeting, cooking on a budget, balancing a checkbook, coupon clipping and more. All of these skills can help someone from falling into crisis again.

Khelen Rhodes Kuzmovich, a WFU Divinity Student and CCM Volunteer pictured on the right in the photograph, writes, "Volunteers play an essential role in carrying out the work of Crisis Control, whether they are interviewing clients, organizing the food pantry, or providing administrative assistance. As someone who has worked in various social service settings, I am astounded at the level in which volunteers are integrally involved in carrying out the agency’s mission.
