Welcome to Crisis Control Ministry, a Christian-based emergency assistance organization. We strive to assist any Forsyth County resident who faces financial crises which impede the fulfillment of basic life needs. For Crisis Control Ministry, life necessities include housing, utilities, food, and prescription medications.

Founded in 1973 by several Christian churches, our roots are in Christianity, but our reach has never been limited to Christians. People of all backgrounds and beliefs come to Crisis Control to volunteer and to receive services. We are joined together in the common quest for help and hope.

While our primary objective is to help clients through their current crisis, we also strive to:

  • Provide quality delivery of client services by the recruitment and training of volunteers
  • Coordinate the delivery of emergency assistance resources in the community
  • Form collaborative efforts among agencies to benefit our clients
  • Facilitate involvement of volunteers in community needs work
  • Systemize records of emergency assistance
  • Advocate for the poor and needy
