The Children's Home Campus, 1001 Reynolda Road
The HAVE A HEART 5K Run and Dog Walk will benefit Crisis Control Ministry and the Forsyth Human Society. Twin City Track Club will manage the 5K Run which will take place on the paved road around the Children's Home and barnyard area (approximately 2 loops). The Dog Walk is a 1.5 mile loop on a paved road around the Children's Home. Prizes for the 5K run will be awarded to the top three male and female winners overall and in the High School and Masters categories. Prizes will also be given for winners in fun Dog Contests. $20 for early registration, $25 for on-site registration, dowloadable form below.
Schedule of Events
9:00 am to 10:30 am - Registration Open. Free Coffee & Bagels!!
9:45 am - 5K Race Begins. Microchipping and Rabies Clinic Opens.
10:15 am - Race Awards Given
10:30 am - Dog Walk begins with Mayor Allen Joines leading the Pack
11:00 am - Dog Contests - Best Trick; Largest; Smallest; Oldest Dog; and More!!
