There are many ways to give to Crisis Control Ministry, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Whether it's a financial contribution, a gift in kind, a corporate sponsorship, or through volunteerism, CCM appreciates your contribution. It is only with the help of generous donations that we are able to positively impact the vulnerable populations of Forsyth and Stokes Counties.
Consider this:
- $5 provides milk and bread to a family.
- $30 helps our pharmacy to fill one prescription for a client who might otherwise have to choose between food and medicine.
- $131 helps our food pantries to provide food for a hungry family of four for five days.
- $145 provides utility assistance to keep one family warm.
- $222 helps prevent one family from becoming homeless.
Every dollar helps. Perhaps this is best demonstrated by one of our most regular donors. Weekly, an envelope is anonymously slid under our door. On the envelope is always written "A Gift" or "For the Pharmacy." The envelope contains a couple dollar bills. What might be considered a modest contribution goes a long way. Not only is the money immediately put to use helping clients, but the staff and volunteers are repeatedly reminded of why we are here.

If you have more than 3000 greenpoints from purchases at Lowes Foods, you can donate them to Crisis Control Ministry!
Greenpoints will be used by CCM for food to be distributed in the food pantry or redeemed for other items that the ministry needs. You can either donate online or by phoning 1.800.435-5674. The directions for donating online are as follows:
Go to http://www.greenpoints.com/.
- If this is your first visit to the site, you must register by clicking on "First time to our website?" Your account profile will pop up, and you will need to complete the form including choosing a username and password. Click on submit and you will be returned to the homepage.
- You are now ready to click on "Already a member?" Once you sign in, your account number and the total number of available greenpoints in your account will be displayed.
- Click on "Redeem - SHOPPERConnection." At the bottom of this page is listed "Other Ways to Redeem."
- Do not click "Donate greenpoints." This allows transfer of points only to pre-selected, national charities. Instead, click on "Give greenpoints."
- The next screen will prompt you to enter the recipient's 3,000 Member Number. CCM's number is 420221921708. Type this number in with no hyphens or spaces, enter the total number of points you want to transfer, and enter your password. Click on submit.
- You will then see a confirm gift screen that provides a summary of the number of greenpoints you are about to transfer and the recipient's member number. Click on submit once again, and the transfer will be complete.
